England paceman, Chris Woakes, feels it as challenging to play the test series against England. He believes the side is a tough and competitive team, however, the side is inexperienced with young sensations.
As Men in Green have got the high ratio of the fast bowlers, Chris believes the side has got some exciting bowlers that give them strength.
Chris Woakes finds series against Pakistan as ‘a challenge’
“Pakistan are always a competitive team. They have got good experience and some exciting young players as they always do. Some exciting fast bowlers as well. We know they are going to be a tough challenge,” Woakes said while talking to the reporters.
“We have played them enough now, particularly in our home conditions, to know that they are always a challenge and competitive,” he added.
“I honestly really don’t mind. I’m not one for being the center of attention. I want to go out on the field and perform and I want to make match-winning performances for England but it really doesn’t bother me if I’m the first choice or not,” he maintained.
The sides will be featuring in three test matches that are to be played at Old Trafford, Ageas Bowl, and Ageas Bowl respectively, whereas, the three T20Is will be played at Old Trafford.
It has been decided that the series will be resumed behind closed doors to avoid the spreading of the Coronavirus
