Peshawar Zalmi has won their first match with a splendid margin of HBL PSL 2020 playing against Quetta Gladiators. Sammy and the team won the toss first and elected to field and then restricted Quetta Gladiators on 148-5.
What a classical way Zalmi have chosen for the win, finished off with a massive six and seal the victory over Gladiators. Skipper Sammy must be happy for the victory.

Peshawar Zalmi, who played their first match against Karachi Kings after not being able to chase the target of 202, have made an exceptional comeback and demolished Gladiators bowling line-up as Kamran Akmal strikes.
Kamran Akmal has played a magnificent knock of 101 runs on just 55 balls and made the fans chant for him and the franchise. The target from Gladiators was just average so it was an easy piece of work for Zalmis however, they did a very good job with the bat striking back.
Knock of Kamran Akmal consists of six sixes and a couple of fours as he has crossed his hundred, maiden century in T20 in HBL PSL 2020 from any of the Zalmi’s players or any other franchise till now.
After losing miserably from Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi decided to make a come-back and they did splendidly as they first limited Gladiators to lower target and then batsman like Kamran Akmal totally destroyed Gladiators bowling with his marvelous boundaries.
Kamran Akmal holds the record for the most number of sixes in PSL till now and has added many more to his prior records. He also possesses the record of hitting 8 sixes in an innings more than once.
Anyhow, Sammy’s side have won their first match of PSL 2020 and Quetta being winners of the first match against ISLU, have lost their first against PZ.
