The third match of the fifth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) ongoing between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars at Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore is just about to end as second innings are to be terminated.

Lahore making an average start while losing no wickets since the early 50s of the team lost the momentum. Chriss Lynn, with whom the expectations of Qalandars were joint, gave his best in initiation. After Lynn, Fakhar who had done the same in the last edition tried to pull the ball for six but was not fortunate enough as the ball was caught by the fielder rather than crossing the boundary.

The bowling attack of the Multan Sultan has remained exceptional so far as the spinners took a dig at opponents. Shahid Afridi being experienced with his leg-spin balling techniques, kept his economy best although he did not pick up a wicket but caused to be exceptional for his side along with Imran Tahir, South-African spinner and England’s off-spinner and all-rounder, Moeen Ali.

Moeen and Tahir both picked up two wickets each and were troublesome for the opponents as the spinners of Sultans were in the working form accordingly to the situation of on-field.

Lahore are trying to do well with the ball as they too have restricted Multans as much as they can. Taking wickets might help them down but the balanced form of the batsmen on the pitch is good as they are now trying to hit boundaries to reach the limited target.

Also, it would be going easy for Multan to chase off because Lahore Qalandars are lacking spinners as the condition of the stadium require.

On the contrary, Multan batsmen are going fine as Shan Masood, the skipper, playing his extra covers to drive the team to win. Still, destiny knows where the teams will be in the end as they are fighting with each other to be winners in the termination.
