“Did You want me to tear off my clothes and start dancing?”

Asked Ahmed Godil after being poked and mocked on social media after his performance in HBL PSL 2020 opening ceremony.

Godil, who has been targetted by Pakistani senseless youth with the memes and roasting posts, has lost his job as he has been banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

In the opening ceremony of HBL PSL 2020, Godil was asked to entertain the massive audience at least for straight 15 minutes before the mega event starts so the audience can be cheerful and energized.

According to him, he had no idea that he has to be live later on as there were no pre-planning. This was the sudden task which requires gut to perform infront of the huge audience with confidence.

“What were you [critics] expecting me to do?” he asked,

“Entertain you like a stand-up comedian? I am a ground host; I was doing my job,” he added.

Godil has been totally heartbroken after the internet trolls took his family into consideration.

“Fine if you have a problem with me, but at least leave my family out of it,” he said. “What did they ever do to you?”

The non sense people have no idea that crossing their limits and hurting someone sentiments might result into contradictions with his job as an outcome of the trolls which PCB has taken noticed, and suspended him.

“Whatever you have rehearsed or remembered for the show, you forget it there [live during the ceremony],”
