The CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim Khan has revealed higher possibilities for New Zealand tour of Pakistan in January 2021.
As the international cricket has returned to Pakistan and many countries are already touring for cricket formats, New Zealand is also expected to tour in the next year.
Wasim while having a media chat with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC)’s president Kumar Sangakkara at Gaddafi Stadium said that PCB is working on to take international cricket in every city of Pakistan.
“We are working on taking international cricket in every city. The next normal tour is expected in Pakistan when New Zealand will tour the country next year to play two Tests and three T20Is,” he said.
“When they will come, we can provide more of a balanced schedule of matches, it makes sense to completely play series at a single venue because these are the short tours which were held recently in past months,” he added.
New Zealand have recently played an ODI series against India in which they whitewashed the opposition miserably whereas Pakistan recently played a T20 series against Bangladesh and whitewashed them bg 2-0 as one of the game was called off due to cloud burst.
As both the teams, Pakistan and New Zealand have performed exceptional against their opponents so it would be the struggling series for the trophy for both sides.
