Pakistan’s pacer, Mohammad Amir, is ready to join the National squad as confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.
 Amir, who excluded himself from the squad due to the birth of his child, will be part of the team soon. Along with him, Mohammad Imran, a masseur of the National High-Performance Department, will also leave for England.
 The two players will have to clear the two COVID-19 tests before flying. After clearing the first test, they will be promoted to a biosecure environment in Lahore where the second test will be conducted. On issuance of clearance, the players will join the national squad at Derbyshire.

Once Amir will join the squad, the reserve wicket-keeping batsman, Rohail Nazir will be free of his duties.

The sides will be featuring in three test matches that are to be played at Old Trafford, Ageas Bowl, and Ageas Bowl respectively, whereas, the three T20Is will be played at Old Trafford.

It has been decided that the series will be resumed behind closed doors to avoid the spreading of the Coronavirus

The sides will be seen in action on the mentioned below dates:

5-9 Aug – 1st Test, Old Trafford

13-17 Aug – 2nd Test, Ageas Bowl

21-25 Aug – 3rd Test, Ageas Bowl

28 Aug – 1st T20I, Old Trafford

30 Aug – 2nd T20I, Old Trafford

1 Sep – 3rd T20I, Old Trafford

Pakistan have taken a higher ratio of the young sensation in the squad for England tour. As the three-match test series is about to be kicked off, the veterans do not have much expectance from the young side and believe that home-siders England hold the card.
