The organizers of the ICC T20 World Cup are confident enough that the tournament will be thriving amid COVID-19 which has globally worsened the situation of sports as well.
Despite considering the contingency plans, the organizers of the ICC T20 World Cup are hopeful, the tournament will not require contingency plans.
The World’s health crisis has affected cricket bodies adversely. The ICC T20 World Cup that is to be kicked off by 18th November in Australia, can be affected equally being influenced by the COVID-19.
The uncertainty will be more challenging as nobody knows when the situation will heal. The 16 participants thence, would have to wait for a bit longer as World Cup according to the opinion of many could be delayed. However, the organizers are hopeful that no contingency plans would be needed and the tournament will take place by normal means.
