Asia Cup 2020 is likely to be postponed amidst the Coronavirus pandemic as the decision by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has been deferred.
The hosting rights that Pakistan had to host Asia Cup have got some troubles in its ways as Team India has denied visiting Pakistan in the midst of their political tensions. As a consequence, the hosting rights are expected to be given to Dubai.
The meeting was supposed to take place in March but has been ruled out amidst the Coronavirus outbreak and since then, the matter is pending on the take of the Asia Cup.
ACC President Nazmul Hasan Papon was expected to set a meeting almost after three months but it is still pending and there are no decisions regarding it yet.

According to reliable reports, the postponement is expected amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. Along with the Asia Cup, there are chances that the ICC T20 World Cup can also get postponed or shifted to another year’s window.
Coronavirus has badly interrupted the sports scenario all across the globe. Cricketing activities are one of the ports scenarios to get disrupt amid lockdown. A few series were held behind closed doors to avoid public meetings hence avoiding Coronavorus symptoms. Later, the series and the tournaments got called off indefinitely amid lockdown of Coronavirus outbreak.
At present, cricket players are either isolating at their homes or spending quarantine without any physical activity. Deprived of physical movement and no cricket for so long might have troubled their fitness levels. Consequently, they can not step in the ground at the international level straight.
