Zimbabwe did not get a dream start from their openers as Peter Moor came in to bat at no.3 and scored 21 runs off 12 balls for a four and 2 sixes before being bowled by Lamichhane. Zimbabwe was looking troubled at the score of 38/3 after 5 overs but Zimbabwe’s captain Sean Williams came to their rescue.
Sean Williams played an impressive innings of 53 runs off 35 balls for 4 fours and 3 sixes. Sean Williams much required 53 runs helped Zimbabwe to become stabilized after losing three wickets in the early phase of the game. Tinotenda Mutombodzi scored 20 runs off 22 balls and Ryan Burl made 28 runs off 21 balls, while Zimbabwe’s wicketkeeper Richmond Mutumbami contributed 17 off 16 balls to their team’s total of 160 runs for 6 wickets after 20 overs.
