PSL 5: One of the Pakistan Super League’s franchises, Multan Sultans, that was added to the PSL back in 2018, has unveiled Shan Masood as their new skipper.

Shan will be replacing the post of former skipper Shoaib Malik and will be leading the team with new strategies.

It was previously declared that Shan Masood is to be named as the captain of Multan Sultans but, an official announcement has been made today. The franchise has posted on the official page of twitter that,

A day prior, although Shahid Afridi losing his control posted about the confirmation of the relevant news. But, the franchise was yet to made an official announcement.

Multan Sultans has not performed up to the marks under the captaincy of Shoaib Malik. The team could only win 4 and lost 5 out of 10 matches played. It might be possible that this miserable piece of performance has forced the franchise to find an alternate for the newly declared post for PSL 5.
