PSL 2020: Naseem Shah advised to rest

The youngest Pakistani pace sensation, Naseem Shah, has been advised by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) medical panel to take rest for first two matches of the PSL followed by his injury.

Naseem sustained his injury in the recent held test match against Sri Lanka after he got a mind-bashing hat-trick.

The advisory panel seeks Naseem to take rest for two matches of the T20 league so that he could perform efficiently in the rest of the tournament.

According to the Urdu daily, the medical panel said that,

“The 17-year-old needed to nurse his injured ribs despite being given clearance last week,”

“Two-match rest will see him fit for the rest of the tournament.”

If it happens, Naseem is likely to miss the match against Islamabad United on 20th February and the second against Peshawar Zalmi on Saturday.

However, Naseem was declared clearance along with Hassan Ali but now has to take rest due to ribs injury whereas, Hassan will be continuing to whole of the tournament.
