Quetta Gladiators have picked their replacement of Naseem Shah for the next matches of the franchise for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
Gladiators have chosen to go with the leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood as a replacement for Naseem. Naseem, who has got injured during the Gladiators match against Peshawar Zalmi is underscan as prescribed by the physicians and is on rest for at least a weak.
The replacement was approved by the event’s technical committee, which includes PCB CEO Wasim Khan, Bazid Khan, Marina Iqbal, Sameer Khosa and Dr. Sohail Saleem.
Zahid Mehmood has previously a part of the squad for Southern Punjab in the recently held Quaid-e-Azam trophy
It is still to be decided that the replacement in the form of Zahid Mehmood is temporary or permanent. Naseem might return after a 5-day rest and it could take longer although he isn’t having restlessness he has got an injury in his left ankle.
