Umar Akmal has been the recent fuming topic for the media to discuss on their channels and to mock although the major specifics behind his ban are still not given clearance by the board. Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Akmal for the next three years which has deprived him of playing any form of the game till 20th February 2023 as a consequence of his severe disciplinary issues almost for a decade.
The former head coach of Pakistan Cricket Team, Mickey Arthur, has also been in a fuming conversation with Umar Akmal during his coaching era when Akmal blamed accused him of using harsh language. He has disclosed that he had fights with arrogant Akmal due to his consecutive failures in the fitness tests in 2017 and his troubling behavior.
Umar, in the presence of Inzamam ul Haq, used harsh and strong vocabularies on Mickey as declared by him recently.

“I thought he was arrogant during the incident at the High-Performance Center. He walked up to our fitness trainer, Grant Luden, asked him for his fitness program despite handing him numerous in the past. He then went up to Grant Flower and asks him ‘Can I have a hit?’ which at that time was unbelievably arrogant,” Arthur said while talking on Youtube podcast show.
“Than I told him, let’s go have a chat. I told him that you need to sort things out first which includes improving fitness and scoring runs. I might have a couple of strong words but that was to realize him into some sort of action,” he added.
Mickey Arthur also thinks that allowing Umar to be the part of the national squad once again will be the poorest decision ever.
