Karan Tiwari, a local Indian cricketer, has committed suicide after not being a part of the contracts for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
The player used to bowl for Ranji Trophy got some really good bowling techniques. He was the one of the best net bowlers for Mumbai Indians (MI). According to the revelation his friend did, he was disappointed after he has missed the IPL contract and has not been selected to play at UAE.
The 27-year-old has been a dominant feature of club cricket in India. It has been shocking after he was found hanging with the fan on the ceiling on Monday night at 10:30 pm.
We have registered an ADR and investigations are on,” Babasaheb Salunkhe, senior Police Inspector at Kurar police station told Mid-day.
“Karan Tiwari called his best friend in Udaipur to inform him that he is going to commit suicide. He was depressed after not getting a chance to play in the IPL. His friend informed Karan’s sister who lives in the same city. His sister called his mother, but by then, it was too late. Karan was declared dead before reaching the hospital,” the police officer briefed further.
“He was hoping to get selected for a state team. He was in talks with a few of them. He was a very promising cricketer and had uploaded his bowling and batting videos on his last WhatsApp status. It is shocking that he chose to take such a drastic step,”
