Harbhajan Singh, the Indian leg-spinner, thinks that his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will not miss him and his fellow Suresh Raina.
After both of them has left for their backyard before the league started, the scenario was not digestible for many. He believes the side is experienced as they have added on Dhoni, Brave, Watson, and Jadeja. He added that lacking Raina and him, CSK will not have a bigger impact as the game will go normal without them.
Harbhajan Singh: CSK will not miss me and Suresh Raina
“CSK is one of those sides which has a lot of experience. Yes, they don’t have Harbhajan Singh; they don’t have Suresh Raina, which won’t bother them too much. They have got a wealth of experience of Shane Watson, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja. Yes, I am going to miss playing with CSK this year. I don’t know how much they will miss me. They will still go forward without Suresh or me or no matter whoever,” he said while speaking to India Today.
Harbhajan has prioritized being with his family rather than being in-ground, however, he has wished a stroke of good luck to his beloved franchise.
“I thought it’s important for me to be with the family and spend some time with them rather than being there in the park. I am going to miss playing but at the same time wishing my team CSK all the very best for the tournament, and I am sure they will do what they are known for,” Harbhajan Singh further added.
