The COVID-19 has got a hard grip across India as the cricket-loving nation has crossed 5 Million positive cases. The worsened scenarios have forced the Board of Control Of Cricket in India (BCCI) to move the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) at UAE entirely and according to the speculations, England vs India matches are also to be moved at the similar venue.
BCCI were to host England at the beginning of 2021 for red and white-ball cricket. It seems impossible for them to hold a home series amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. On the contrary, the Emirates Cricket Board is in contact with BCCI to contract a deal for organizing the bilateral series other than the ongoing domestic league.

“I along with vice-chairman of the ECB, Mr. Khalid Al Zarooni, signed an MoU and hosting agreement between [the BCCI] and [ECB], to boost cricketing ties between our countries,” Shah wrote on social media.

“The BCCI and the Indian cricket team will continue to fulfill its FTP commitments,” Ganguly said last month. The senior Indian men’s team will travel to Australia in December this year and will come back to the country for a series against England starting from February next year,” Ganguly had said.

The BCCI did every possible tactic to hold IPL this year despite the fact that COVID-19 has been badly dominant for months. Even a few of the franchises reported positive cases but they did not decide to scrap up instead the first match has been played without an opening ceremony today at Sheikh Zayad Stadium.
