The former cricketer, Faisal Iqbal, has been recently added to the provincial coaching panel of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The act has been criticized by many and people believe Faisal does not have any inspiring cricket records to mentor Balochistan in domestic cricket.
Danish Kaneria, whose career was wiped out amidst some politics, believes similar to that of many people and questioned PCB on what credentials he has been chosen over potent ones.
The national board also included the former cricketers, Basit Ali and Abdul Razzaq in the provincial coaching panels for 2020-21 domestic season.
Humayun Farhat, Imran Fazil, Ghulam Ali, Shahid Anwar, and Zafar Iqbal have also been confirmed as cricket associations for the upcoming domestic season.
Danish Kaneria questions over Faisal Iqbal’s appointment as Balochistan coach
“Faisal Iqbal, on what credentials he has been appointed. Don’t deserve it. There are many other test players who have served the country. The guy who never played on merit got on the selection panel. PCB please don’t ruin future of Pakistan cricket,” he wrote.

Kaneria, who was imposed ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has threatened to sue and take legal action against those who will link him up with the match-fixing scandals.
Danish already has harvested and claimed the discrimination issue by PCB back in 2019. The board responded to the religious discrimination saying the players of the past decade must speak on the matter.
In 2013, he was involved in a spot-fixing scandal and now wants to be the part of the National squad again seeking a discrimination-free system by PCB.
