The only consistent batsman in Pakistan for all the three formats of Cricket and the king of cover-drives Babar Azam has scored his fifth test century, with the added partnership of Shan Masood to the total who is now having back to back, test centuries from some time.
The batsmen have reached the milestones in the first test match going on against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Stadium on Day 2 and 1st innings for Pakistan after they had bowled out Bangladesh on a total of 233 on the Day one.
Shan Masood first hit the brilliant knock of fifty on just 52 balls. It was the 7th test fifty for Shan Masood and he has driven it to the third test century against Bangladesh. Unfortunately, he was gotten immediately after scoring his 7th hundred as he got clean bowled by Taijul Islam.
Babar Azam, who has been presented the cap for being named in the ICC ODI team of the year by Majid Khan, scored his fifth test century and three on the trot in the last three tests.
The skipper Azhar Ali is going through tough times as he once again failed to gear his score snd was departed on 34. Abid Ali, who has performed like a star in the matches against Sri Lanka, got out in the second over of the innings on the duck.
Asad Shafiq has also added his fifty and Pakistan are 313-3 against Bangladesh with everything under their control.
However, Pakistan is leading over Bangladesh as on day first, they have made a positive start when Shaheen Afridi shined like a pro with four wickets.
