After some excerpt from Ben Stokes’ book, on fire’ has been misunderstood by Pakistani media, writers, fans, and the experts, there have been a glazing and fuming controversy going on which says that ‘India lost deliberately to England to kick-out Pakistan from the ICC T20 World Cup 2019′.

Although Ben Stokes neglected the news terming it as ‘clickbait’ and ‘twisting of words’, still some people misunderstood it and cricketers are now turned on commenting over the scenario. First, Sikander Bakht and now Abdul Razzaq has come forward to support Ben Stokes’ never existing statement and said that India lost deliberately so they could eliminate Pakistan from the tournament.

Ben termed India’s performance as bizarre and blamed the batsmen especially MS Dhoni who showed no intent to win the game. Razzaq has fully supported the statement and said he intentionally blocked the ways as he could have gone for fours and sixes.

“Ismein shaq ki baat hi koi nahi. Humne uss waqt hi bola tha. Saare log keh rahe hain, jitne cricketers hain sab keh rahe. Ek aadmi chakka maar sakta hai, chauka maar sakta hai lekin phir bhi woh rokh raha hai…Toh pata toh chal jaata hai na.” Abdul Razzaq told ARY Sports, clearly pointing out at MS Dhoni, who played a knock of 42 runs from 31 balls in that match.

There is no doubt in this. I had told this at that time as well. In fact, everyone else opined the same. For a person who can hit fours and sixes at will, he was blocking everything…Hence, one tends to know”. Translated
