India captain Virat Kohli communicated his sympathies to Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya after the demise of their dad on Saturday. Taking to his Twitter account, Kohli said that he was ‘devastated’ to hear the news and requested the two siblings to remain solid in the face from this misfortune.
“Crushed to catch Virat Kohliof Hardik and Krunal’s father. Addressed him two or multiple times, looked a cheerful and loaded with life individual. May his spirit find happiness in the hereafter. Stay solid both of you. @hardikpandya7 @krunalpandya24,” Kohli said on Twitter.
Baroda captain Krunal Pandya has left the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 bio-bubble in Vadodara to be with his family to grieve the death of his dad, Himanshu Pandya. Himanshu passed on Saturday because of a heart failure.
“Indeed, Krunal Pandya has Virat Kohli misfortune, Baroda Cricket Association grieves this deficiency of Hardik and Krunal,” BCA Cricket Association CEO Shishir Hattangadi told ANI.
Baroda, who are in Group C of the competition, have scored three successes in three matches with triumphs over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. In the three matches, Krunal had made 77 runs, with 76 of those coming in one game against Uttarakhand, while getting four wickets in 12 overs.

Prior, Krunal and the BCA CEO Hattangadi hit the Virat Kohli blamed by colleague Deepak Hooda for tormenting, to which Hattangadi, in an emphatic letter, rebuked Hooda for wrongdoing.
