Karachi: The match ends up with thrills at National Stadium, Karachi between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings as Kings went for lack of momentum in the field.
Gladiators has beaten Kings by 5 wickets with 6 balls remaining in the end. Skipper Sarfaraz went for a thrilling ending as he hit up the six when 6 runs on 8 balls were required.
Kings after giving not a much better target were already under pressurized but better on-field strategies might have helped as they have missed many run-out chances with deliberate midfields.
Quetta’s post 10 overs went excellent for them as Azam Khan along skipper strikes with their classical knocks. When Azam got out, there could have been the mild chances for Kings as two batsmen after Azam were also gotten.
As, the national team under Sarfaraz’s captaincy was unpredictable, he ended up with an unpredictable massive shot and made the crowd chant with DJ Bravo’s “We the Gladiators” song.
M.Husnain from Gladiators has once again been a star picking up three wickets but conceded a little more runs today.
From Kings, Imad’s economy as usual was low with a single wicket. Kings got more run-outs than the actual wickets with also missing many chances of throw hit which has left them in hot waters.
It is to be noted that next PSL match is to be played between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday, 7:00pm, 23rd February, 2020.
