After an opening ceremony held at Karachi, National Stadium, the league embarked with the clash among two times PSL winners, Islamabad United and current title defenders, Quetta Gladiators.
Gladiators rocked the ground with their bashing performance against United and exploded them away. The hitman they have got so-called “Azam Khan” has added much power to the side. The side is already destructive with the perfect opening duo of Jason Roy and Shane Watson.

Karachi Kings against Peshawar Zalmi scored their first highest score of PSL that was 202 and the highest of PSL till now. Kamran Akmal from Zalmi has scored a brilliant knock of 102 against Gladiators which makes him the only man to hit a century in PSL 2020. The man with the most number of sixes has added some more to his prior record.
Shaheen cannot stop inspiring everyone with his spells. He went for four wickets against United but his efforts went vacant as United edged out Qalandars. Also, the 98 of Hafeez remained useless as no-ball by Shinwari in the end stroke.
