Guyana Amazon Warriors, the runners up of 2019 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) are currently on a 3-match losing streak. The Warriors are placed at No.5 in the points table with just two wins from six matches played. The only team below them are St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, who interestingly will face Amazon Warriors on Sunday. The Patriots have been struggling to get going in batting which is why they managed to win only one of the six matches they played thus far.

SKN vs GUY Team News

GUY Team news

Injuries unavailability
No injury announcement from Guyana
Playing combination, expected changes
• Guyana have one of the successful opening combinations in CPL from last year but the pair has been disappointing so far. Although, the leading run-getter from the last season Brandon King is yet to find his groove in this season, Guyana are expected to continue with this reputed pair of Brandon King and Chandrapaul Hemraj for this match as well.
• The top and middle order of Guyana is a dream line-up that any T20 team would like to have in their team. The likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, Ross Taylor and Sherfane Rutherford is a perfect blend of youth and experience as well as destruction and calmness. Even though they have been disappointing, they are proven customers and are expected to come good any time soon.
• The captain Chris Green and one of the best wrist spinners in Imran Tahir will be the spin twins for Guyana in this match as well
• The cutter king Keemo Paul, Romario Shepherd and Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq will be their 3 fast bowlers and they are expected to continue with this trio. Although there is an outside chance that Kevin Sinclair might get his first game of the tournament considering the amount of left-handers in the opposition camp.

SKN Team news

Injuries unavailability
Evin Lewis batted at #7 owing to a groin injury in their previous game but since this is a do or die game, he might just play but confirm the news after toss.
Playing combination, expected changes
• Kieran Powell opened the innings along with Chris Lynn yesterday as Evin Lewis was injured and batted down the order. The another opener Chris Lynn has been a serial failure in this CPL so far but they don’t have any other options so they will be expecting him to come good in this do or die game.
• Their middle order doesn’t inspire much confidence either as all their players are in terrible form except Ben Dunk. They are expected to make some changes to that set-up as Joshua Da Silva or Jahmar Hamilton might play this game ahead of Nick Kelly.
• They dropped Sohail Tanvir in their previous game and played Ish Sodhi who was pretty decent with the ball along with Jon-Russ Jaggesar and Imran Khan. They are expected to play with this same spin trio for this game.
• Although the captain Rayad Emrit has been leading from the front with 10 wickets in the competition, his partners have been a big let down including Sheldon Cottrell and Alzarri Joseph. Sheldon Cottrell looked completely out of rhythm yesterday but they might just give him an extended run this time around.

Best Choice For Captain And Vice-Captain
