Sultans began their journey with the victory against Lahore Qalandars restricting thei bowling line-up in initial forms. However, they lost second match against Islamabad United but regain the momentum ahead in two matches including today’s match against Quetta Gladiators.
With their mind smashing performances till now, Sultans are most likely to stay at the top of table till end challenging the trophy of PSL 5.
Rossouw, who has been the essential element in Sultan’s declared chase-up against opponents, knocked the fastest hundred of HBL PSL. He achieved the milestone only in 44 balls and remained not out throughout the innings.

Multan Sultans set-up an exceptional chase for Quetta Gladiators of 200 runs losing only 5 wickets, saving the rest and delivering their best. Finishing off with style, the home-siders declared a 30 run win over Gladiators restricting them to 169 runs trapping their eight batsmen.
On the contrary, clashing team’s Waston played a brilliant knock of 80 runs on 41 balls with added up 30 of Jason Roy and minor of others, yet the hitting could not save them with the horrendous defeat as Sultans are working with their best among all.
Bilawal Bhatti, the bowler from Shan Masood’s side took 3 wickets conceding 26 runs in 4 overs and South-African spinner, Imran Tahir picked up two wickets. Who might have think that Masood could be this much perfect T20 captain.
It is to be noted that the thirteen match of the PSL 5 that was to be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United has been abandoned due to cloud burst conditions at Rawalpindi.
