The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has extended a year contract with Pepsi as their sponsorship partner. Recently, the contract got expired and Pakistan’s cricket jerseys were left sponsorless.
After being sponsorless, Shahid Afridi Foundation, being the charity partners of PCB signed a contract with the board as a consequence of which, foundation’s logo will be featured on the playing kits against England.
PCB no more sponsorless: Signs contracts with various brands
Pepsi will be continuing as the principal partner for the board as revealed by the director PCB. The carbonated drink company has been working with the cricket board since 1990 and after signing a new contract, they will be sponsor partners for at least the next twelve more months.
“Despite working with a backdrop of a challenging economic climate, I am delighted that we have reached an acceptable agreement with Pepsi to continue as a principal partner for, at least, the next 12 months,” PCB Director – Commercial, Babar Hamid.
“Pepsi has been our valued partner since the 1990s, during which period we have shared great on-field memories and we look forward to that continuing over the next 12-months.
“This extension of the partnership not only reflects our relationship and understanding with Pepsi but also indicates the value that they place on the profile and visibility that sponsoring the Pakistan men’s national cricket team brings.”

It is to be noted that Easy Paisa will also be working as the associate partners of the board.
