The first edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020) is finally all set to be commenced by 27th November facing multiple hurdles in the way after Sri Lanka’s president has given green signals to drag the league ahead.
There were chances that the t20 league could have been canceled once again amidst the Coronavirus outbreak but after the president’s approval, it will finally be organized representing five cities of the Island country.
However, according to the rising sporting site, only one of Hambantota’s Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium is under consideration to wind up the league. Earlier, Sooriyawewa, Pallekele, and Dambulla, with the semi-finals and final in Pallekele were the decided venues but as the second layer of COVID-19 is an inn in most of the countries, the board has decided to cut off the venues.
