India’s recent series victory over Sri Lanka has pushed them ahead in the ICC T20I rankings. India defeated Sri Lanka in a 3-match series by 2-0 after the first match was abandoned due to wet outfield.
India’s KL Rahul is currently ranked the highest among all Indian batsmen. KL Rahul is on the 6th Spot in the ICC top 10 T20I batsmen rankings with 760 points. The batsman had scored 45 runs for 32 balls in the 2nd T20I and contributed 54 runs from 36 deliveries in the 3rd T20I.
Babar Azam retains his top-1 position in the rankings with 879 points. Virat Kohli jumps one spot and is now on the 9th place with 683 points. Currently, Babar Azam and Virat Kohli are the only two batsmen who are in the top 10 rankings in all 3 formats of the game.

Shikhar Dhawan is now on the 15th spot with 612 points. Sri Lanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva has jumped to the 115th place after his 57 runs from 36 balls against India in the 3rd T20I. Sri Lanka’s Lakshan Sandakan secured 3 wickets during the same T20I and is now on 29th position.
Jasprit Bumrah, who is a ranked no 1 bowler in ODIs and ranked no 6 in Tests, has jumped 8 places and is now on 39th spot in T20I rankings.
Indian bowler Navdeep Saini, who also received the “Player of the series” award for securing 5 wickets in the 2 matches, has no reached 98th spot in the ranking. 3rd T20I’s “Player of the match”, Shardul Thakur displayed outstanding all-round performance in the final T20I. He also claimed a total of 5 wickets in the 2 T20Is and is now on 92nd spot in the rankings.
