Abdul Razzaq, the former Pakistani cricketer thinks that India will keep on dominating Pakistan in the World Cups as Pakistan have never managed to win a single again against them in any of the ICC World Cup.
Pakistan;’s arch-rivals, either in T20 World Cup or ODI, have never lost to Pakistan as their players absorb pressure and know how to deal against their arch-rivals.
It must be an ugly fact for Pakistan as they have been never dominated over their arch-rivals. They managed to win under Imran Khan’s captaincy back in 1992 in the finals at Lords against India but then, they lost to Men in Blue in group matches.
The streak since early times has continues and Men in Green even in 2019 World Cup, Kohli’s side demolished Sarfarz’s men.
Abdul Razzaq in an interview clearly stated that Pakistan will keep on losing to Men in Blue in World Cups. Imam ul Haq also revealed recently that we lose because our men have fear of failure. Pakistan and rival nation have rarely faced each other at knock out stages.
“India will continue to maintain that record. It is rare that India and Pakistan play each other in knock-out matches of ICC events. They mostly play in the league stage and India are favorites. Our players are not able to absorb the pressure that comes with this game,” the 40-year-old said as quoted by Hindustan Times.
He also said that Men in Green had the best chance to beat Men in Blue in 2011 semifinals but it went vacant and our men are always afraid to step in the ground when the opponents are the arch-rivals.
“The pressure builds on the players though it is like any other match. The players are not confident about beating Men in Blue in World Cup,” he said, adding Pakistan had the best chance of beating Men in Blue in the 2011 edition.”
