England’s experts: Pakistan can trouble England in the test series

The English experts, David Lloyd, Nasser Hussain, and Michael Vaughan, believe in Pakistan’s ability to beat home-siders England at their own backyard.

While writing in a column for Daily Mail, Nasser discussed the unpredictability of Azhar Ali’s Cricket Team and believes the home-siders could be challenged by them.

England’s experts: Pakistan can trouble England in the test series

“Pakistan are always unpredictable and will have flair. I wouldn’t expect too much difference between them and the West Indies. They may be short of runs as well against England in these conditions with a Dukes ball but England need to start strongly for once,” he said.

Lloyd believes that the batting line-up can trouble English batsmen. Also, he praises the bowling line-up despite being inexperienced can be challenging.

“It will be a very similar challenge. Pakistan have a slightly better batting line-up than West Indies with players experienced in England like Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, and Babar Azam even though his white-ball record is better than his Test one,” said Lloyd.

“Their bowling is dangerous if a little inexperienced and the difference could be that England are coming off the back of a three-Test series and they will have to be careful not to be caught cold.”

The former England skipper believes if Men in Green will bat first in the test series after winning the toss, they can challenge the home-siders.

He cleared he does not mean to degrade West Indies team but Men in Green can give an ultimate shock to England proving their high-quality over England.

“Pakistan is a wonderful team. They have the got skill levels with the ball in hand. Yasir Shah, Babar Azam, Azhar Ali are two right-handed batsmen of high quality, who know how to play in England conditions,” Vaughan said.

“If Pakistan bats first and I am sure that is their plan and get scores on the board, they will really challenge this England side,” he added.

“I’m not disregarding the West Indies at all, but Pakistan is a better Test match team than the West Indies. So I am really looking forward to that series. It should be a ripper. Pakistan could come here and shock the England team if the English side play as they did in the first Test against West Indies at Southampton,” he maintained.
