The Lanka Premier League (LPL) has drafted seven Pakistani players, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Asif Ali, Wahab Riaz, Azam Khan, and Usman Shinwar, for their latest upcoming edition to be started by 30th November.
Sarfaraz, Amir, Azam, and Afridi have been named for the Galle Gladiators that is a franchise owned by Pakistan Super League (PSL) Quetta Gladiators. Recently, Afridi was picked as an international icon player for Galle.
On the other hand, Kandy Tuskers have gone for Riaz whereas, Usman Shinwari and Asif Ali are drafted by Jaffna Stallions. At least eight players that are mentioned in the blog will be receiving the No-Object Certificate (NOC) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). There are high chances that the national board will grant them the NOC as they are unlikely to appear in red-ball domestic competition.
