Sindh scored 176 runs at the cost of 6 wickets while batting first. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could only score 168 runs for 6 wickets after 20 overs against Sindh’s bowling attack. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lost the match by 8 runs.
Sindh’s Ahsan Ali scores a half-century:
Khurram Manzoor and Ahsan Ali came to bat first for Sindh. Both of them provided Sindh with a dream start after they scored a partnership of 83 runs together. Khurram Manzoor lost his wicket to Umer Khan after scoring 35 runs off 32 balls with the help of 5 fours.
Ahsan Ali was the star of the match after he struck 64 runs off just 37 balls. Ahsan Ali struck 8 fours all over the ground and smacked 3 huge sixes before he was caught behind in Imran Khan’s over. His innings and partnership with Khurram Manzoor and Saad Ali played a key role in bringing Sindh’s total to 176 runs after 20 overs.

Saad Ali lost his wicket to Mohammad Mohsin after contributing 20 runs off 18 balls while Sarfaraz Ahmed got bowled by Usman Shinwari after scoring 3 runs. Anwar Ali smacked a quick 18 off 10 balls before he was run out, while Sindh’s captain Asad Shafiq also got dismissed after scoring 10 runs.

All five bowlers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed 1 wicket each for themselves. Umer Khan took 1 for 29 runs and Junaid Khan snatched 1 for 33 runs. Usman Shinwari turned out to be the most successful bowler out of the 5 with only conceding 23 runs for 1. Imran Khan gave away 41 runs for 1 wicket and proved to be the most expensive bowler for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Mohammad Mohsin took 1 for 39 runs.
Mohammad Rizwan’s 70 off 43 in vain:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa required 177 runs from 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman and Israrullah came to open the innings for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Mohammad Hasnain of Sindh took two back-to-back wickets after he dismissed Fakhar Zaman for 15 runs and on the very next ball, dismissed Mohammad Mohsin on a duck as well. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was 2 down on 36 runs with a long way ahead of them.

Israrullah scored 28 runs off 20 balls but Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s captain and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan played an outstanding innings. Mohammad Rizwan kept the chase alive as he smacked 70 runs off 43 balls for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Mohammad Rizwan struck a total of 6 fours and 2 sixes before he lost his wicket to Anwar Ali.
Iftikhar Ahmed scored 20 runs, Adil Amin and Khusdil Shah both scored 15 runs. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa fell just 9 runs short of achieving the target and winning their second match in the National T20 Cup. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finished on 168/6 after 20 overs.
Sindh’s Anwar Ali takes three:
Anwar Ali bowled magnificently as he took 3 wickets after conceding 30 runs in his 3 overs. Anwar Ali also took down Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s captain Mohammad Rizwan, who was the real threat to Sindh’s side after he scored 70 runs off 43 balls. Mohammad Hasnain took 2 wickets in a single over as he conceded a total of 29 runs throughout his 4 overs. Ahsan Jamil claimed 1 wicket for 38 runs.
