The absence of a few “Big” players did take away some light from the first week of Caribbean premier league but the new ones more than made up for it. Let’s have a short summary of this year’s Caribbean Premier League so far.
Unwavering champs of Caribbean Premier League:
So far the previous year’s finalists, Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors have continued to dominate the points table of this year’s Caribbean Premier League so far with both of them winning 3 games straight. St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and St Lucia Zouks have lost both of their games so far. Barbados tridents and Jamaica Tallawahs have also lost their initial matches.
Caribbean Premier League Best batsman of the week:
Kieron Pollard is probably having the best time of his year at the CPL ( Caribbean Premier League ) as along with leading Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in their hat-trick of wins with his 47 of 32 balls against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and 33* of 21 balls against Jamaica Tallawahs, he has also been entrusted with the captaincy of west indies cricket team in both ODI and T20I.
Caribbean Premier League Best Bowler of the week:
The young Pakistani star all-rounder Shadab khan has been doing wonders for Guyana Amazon Warriors for the past week in CPL. After his amazing performance with 3/16 against the Zouks in their initial match of this year’s CPL ( Caribbean Premier League ), young Shadab has kept his head high with consistent economical bowling.
