The retired Pakistan Cricket Star, Shahid Afridi has rated MS Dhoni as dominant upon that of Australia’s Ricky Ponting.
Undoubtedly, Dhoni is known as the coolest and calmest skipper in cricketing history. He knows how to dig most out of his players while staying calm. He has led his team professionally to an extent as he has won all ICC trophies that makes him the only skipper to achieve the milestone.
Despite him, Ricky Ponting is also known to be the successful captain of Australia. However, Afridi is the admirer of Dhoni’s captaincy tactics.

“I rate Dhoni a bit higher than Ponting as he developed a new team full of young,” he said.
As the former Indian skipper has developed a team based on the potential of youngsters in all departments, India is also an aggressive successful cricket team across the globe.
Notably, the topic of MS Dhoni’s retirement has been trending for a few months. It seems like his own nation has stood against him and wants him to retire. MS Dhoni has served India Cricket for so long, and he, no doubt, deserves a farewell with dignity. A few are of the thoughts that if he has not taken part in international cricket since ICC World Cup 2019 and has been on the gap for this much longer, he shall think about retirement.
