Sese Bau and Norman Vanua were the saviors of Papua New Guinea. The pair shared a partnership of 77 runs to bring their team back from the dead. Sese Bau scored 17 runs after facing 33 balls for 1 four, rotating the strike with Norman Vanua who dealt the real damage to Kenya. Vanua scored 54 runs off 48 balls for 3 fours and 2 sixes. Kenya was 4 down on 45 runs and it started going downhill from there as they kept losing 1 wicket after the other. Irfan Karim, Collins Obuya, and Aman Gandhi were the 3 players that made it into double digits for Kenya. They lost all their wickets by 74 runs in 18.4 overs.
