Pak vs Zim: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided a preliminary squad for limited over series. The head coach cum chief selector, Misbah ul Haq, met other provincial coaches to finalize the squad and will be revealed officially in the second week of October.
According to the reports, there will be only minor changes made ahead of Zimbabwe tour of Pakistan. The board is thinking of giving extra chances to juniors to prepare them ahead of big matches. To boost their confidence, more juniors than seniors will take part in the series against Zimbabwe.
As the ICC T20 World Cup is on its way, Pakistan are trying different combinations. The one that will suit best, will be chosen for the mega-event. However, the team will be a mix of the veterans and juniors ahead of their matches against New Zealand. It is to be noted that they have chosen the squad against New Zealand as well.

Pakistan vs Zimbabwe is scheduled to play three ODI’s that are part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, on October 30th, November 1st, and November 2nd in Multan. The ODI series is followed by a three-match T20I series to be played in Rawalpindi on 7th, 8th, and 10th November.
Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) have already started their training with a 25-player squad at Harare on September 22nd. The teams will be following completely COVID-19 protocols and will be restricted in a biosecure bubble.
