Mohammad Hafeez, the batsman of the Lahore Qalandars feels that his franchise committed a few mistakes in the Eliminator 1 played against the Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) and is seeking to eradicate similar blunders in the next game.
Qalandars conceded a few runs in the death overs and Hafeez wants the players to bowl well in the last five overs. Although LQ won the match professor is looking to diminish the unwanted mistakes to win from the wider margin and to avoid any major risk.
Notably, Rana Fawad-own franchise is now Eliminator 2 and the lucky fate will decide their qualifying to final. Either it can be Multan Sultans or Qalandars. The two teams are to face each other tonight at 7:30 pm at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Mohammad Hafeez looking to overcome the mistakes Qalandars did against Zalmi
“I believe our death bowling needs improvement because today and even in the group stage, we didn’t bowl good last four to five overs,” Hafeez said.
“Our fielding, our batting in the powerplay can improve more but as a team, we played a good game today and will look to continue the same against Sultans,” he added.
