Gautam Gambhir, the current Indian politician, and former Indian cricketer has been named as characterless and a person with no personality by Pakistan’s Boom Boom Shahid Afridi.
Shahid Afridi has taken a dig over Gautam Gambhir declaring him as a person with no personality and high moral and ethical morals. Both arch-rivals are known to be taking a dig at each other since 2007 in the world of cricket either in the ground or at the social media platforms.
Afridi thinks Gambhir owns no personality at all and thinks of himself not less than Don Bradman in the ground. Afridi has slammed him earlier in his biography book known as “Game Changer” saying that,
“Some rivalries were personal, some professional. First the curious case of Gambhir. Oh! poor Gautam. He & his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He who has no great records just a lot of attitude,” writes Afridi.
“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He, who has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He, who behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond.”
Gambhir has not responded yet to Afridi’s statements and media is waiting eagerly for fuming comments between India and Pakistan.
Pakistan and India have always raised political tensions among them which have turned into a sense of hatred among the people of both sides. The fuming hatred has stepped into a beautiful game like cricket as well. Players from both nations are often noted taking dig each other among which Afridi and Gautam and Sehwag and Shoaib are the notable characters.
