Babar Azam, the vice-captain of the Karachi Kings (KK) has dedicated Kings’ victory to the late Dean Jones. Jones was earlier elected as head coach of the team, pushed the men in red-blue to the second spot in the points table.
Notably, this is the first final for Karachi as the team has never got qualified to play in the event’s last stage. Jones died because of a massive heart attack. The news was shocking and has been confirmed by many reliable Indian cricketing authorities.
He was selected for off-tube commentary for the thirteenth season of the cash-rich league.
For years, he has been working in collaboration with many T20 leagues across the globe. For the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he has coached Islamabad United (ISLU) exceptionally and for the PSL 2020, he was signed for Karachi Kings (KK).
