Indian former cricketer, Aakash Chopra has applauded the youngest captain in the history of PSL, Shadab Khan, for his terrific performance and amelioration with the bat.
Shadab smashed 263 runs at an average of 37.57 and a strike-rate of 159.39 and was praised by Chopra on Twiter in a video.
“Shadab Khan was the player of the tournament for me. Even though he took only eight wickets, but he batted really well, so well done to Shadab and our Adaab to you,” He added.
Basically, Shadab began his journey as an international star with the leg-spin by and has been emerged through PSL. This season, he was a complete package for Islamabad United as a rising batsman as he played sensible knocks that nobody from him has expected or seen. The ultimate knocks might have made his place as a perfectionist all-rounder in the squad of the T20 World Cup.
Although being a bowler, he shall have grabbed up more wickets but it seemed like he has put into efforts for the bat. Aakash Chopra on the matter said,
“Shadab Khan was the best player in PSL 2020 for me as he batted exceedingly well although he took only eight wickets with the ball.”
