Taufeeq Umar, the former Pakistani opening batsman for red-ball cricket, has been tested positive for the globally spreading Coronavirus.
The cricketer has confirmed the reported news himself. According to the medical reports, the former cricketer is suffering from mild symptoms of the Coronavirus.

“I got myself tested last night after feeling a little sick last night, and the result came positive. My symptoms are not at all severe,” the cricketer was quoted saying to a local news channel.
“I have isolated myself at home and I appeal to everyone to pray for my swift recovery,” he added.
Umar is the first Pakistani cricketer who has been tested positive for the Coronavirus. The deadly disease is now getting on nerves as it has caused upto 3 lac deaths across the globe. In Pakistan, more than 2000 deaths have been reported and the number of being tested positive for the pandemic is crossing the margin line.
The severe condition has also affected the sports scenarios. Cricket is one of the major sports that has been badly affected. Pakistan cricket is one of the major crickets that are suffering under pressure. There is no authentic saying about when the cricket in country will resume again.
