Lahore Qalandars have become the third of fourth team to qualify for the play-offs of PSL 2020 by beating Multan Sultans. Qalandars, who always end up on the last spot in PSL standings have first time make it to the play-offs.
Qalandars who started miserably losing several initial matches made an exceptional comeback when they declared three consecutive wins beating Quetta Gladiators twice and Karachi Kings once, made their place in the HBL PSL standings at third spot.
The consecutive losses had down their confidence which they regain after three back to back victories granting a boost in their confidence regaining the potential along with momentum.
For qualifying for play-offs, they beat Multan Sultans gearing them a smash. Chris Lynn played a marvelous innings adding a ton of 52 balls and have been the key player for Lahore Qalandars for dragging into play-offs.
However, Haris was totally exploded as he conceded 50 runs in 3 overs which swap Sultans to 186 or else they could have stayed around 150. Qalandars chased it wisely and for the first time, have been qualified for the play-offs. Must be pleasing for the coach Aqib Javed after strock of criticism.
However, it is to be notified that both the semi-fianls would be played on 17th March whereas, the final on 18th March as per the new schedule.
