Pakistan’s star batsman, Babar Azam, made his way to the ICC top 10 Test batsmen rankings after his hundred in the rain-affected Test match against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Babar Azam jumped 4 places to reach the 9th spot with 728 points.

Babar Azam is now the only batsman alongside Virat Kohli to be in the top 10 rankings in each format of the game. Babar stands on 9th in Tests, 3rd in ODIs and 1st in T20I rankings. On the other end, Virat Kohli is top-ranked in Test, ODI rankings, and 3rd in T20Is.
Marnus Labuschagne takes 5th spot in ICC top 10 test Batsmen ranking:
Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne claimed his career-best 5th position by advancing 3 places after his 3 hundred in 3-consecutive Test matches. He currently has 786 points. The batsman has played only 12 Test matches and has already scored more than 1100 runs with an average of 58.05.
David Warner fell 2 positions and is now on the 7th post. Joe Root also dropped 1 place to the 8th spot with 752 points in ICC top 10 Test batsmen ranking.
New Zealand’s Tim Southee climbed 3 spots to make it to the 10th place in ICC top 10 Test bowler ranking after his 9 wicket haul against Australia in Perth Test. Australia’s Mitchell Starc jumped 9 spots to the 5th position after he claimed 9 wickets against New Zealand in the same Test.

Neil Wagner is now on the 3rd spot, while Jason Holder is on the 4th. Jasprit Bumrah dropped 1 place and is now on the 6th spot with 794 points. Vernon Philander and James Anderson also dropped 2 positions and are currently on the 8th and 9th spots, respectively.
