The isolation period for the Pakistan Cricket Team has finally ended as the health authorities of New Zealand has given green signals to the Men in Green after they have been quarantined for almost two weeks following the COVID-19 protocols.
Earlier this week, as many as eight members of the guest team were reported as COVID-19 positive which hit at the nerves of furious isolation regulations of the host. Since the team has arrived, New Zealand’s management has tested the Pakistan team five times to make sure the health of every player and the member is okay.
As of now, the Men in Green are all set to travel to Queensland for the inter-squad practice matches as the T20I series is to begin by 18th December.
However, an unnamed player who was tested positive recently will be linked up with the bio-secure environment at Christchurch until he completes his clearance to be announced by the health ministry NZ.

“Additionally, the member of the squad who was taken into quarantine in Auckland after arriving from Dubai feeling unwell but subsequently testing negative has also been cleared to leave the facility,” NZC said in a statement.
Indeed, the isolation period has been challenging and tough for the Men in Green as a small breaching has dragged them into hot waters as they received for the cancelation of the cricket tour.
