Match Preview

Trinbago Knight Riders could well script history if they play in the playoffs, the way they’ve been playing at the moment. They are on their way to a perfect group stage record, having won 9 out of 9 and secured their place in the first Semi-final. They have looked the best team in the tournament and have been firing on all cylinders. They haven’t shown any kinks in their armor.

Weather Report & Pitch Condition

If reports are to be believed, rain might not play its part in Sunday’s game. A few clouds are expected but apart from that, nothing. The temperatures are expected to hover around the late twenties.

The pitch at the Brian Lara Stadium has behaved rather strangely this season. Teams batting first have been heavily favoured while chasing is a sin to commit. However, the track seems to be aiding bowlers more than the batsmen, now.

Average first innings score: 128  (Based on last 5 games)

Record of chasing teams: Won – 2, Lost – 2, NR – 1
