SIX! Yuzvendra Chahal to Nicholas Pooran. Leg spinner full toss, outside off stump down the track driving, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs. Into the skies...and over long-on! There's the winning runs! Pooran does it and does so in style! Pooran dances down the track and lofts it over long-on for a maximum. Punjab wins the nailbiter in the very last ball. It was a comfortable victory for the Kings XI even though they pushed it to the very end. Kings XI win by 8 wickets. Skipper KL Rahul would be relieved and top-scored with 61 , well accompanied by Agarwal with 45 and Gayle with 53. It was a pleasure to watch Gayle turn the clock back to his younger days and put on an explosive show with the bat. For RCB, Chahal picked up one wicket but their bowling attack did not do well enough to restrict them within the total. KL Rahul has been adjudged as the man of the match for his excellent performance with the bat. Join us for the next match played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. Live from Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Until then, adios!

OUT! Run Out. Yuzvendra Chahal to Lokesh Rahul. Leg spinner back of a length, middle stump backing away driving, to cover, fielded by Padikkal, by de Villiers. A bit of an anti-climax. A wicket just before the home run. Run Out!! Goodness, gracious! What happened there? Hare-brained running has cost Punjab a wicket here, that too of experienced Gayle. He fails to make it in time for the quick single and he's a goner. Punjab need 1 form 1 ball. Can they win it or will this lead to a superover?

Match Preview

Since this match, a lot has changed for these two teams. RCB are going strong with five wins in seven games and have turned the tables around quite drastically. KXIP, on the other hand, have come up with some appalling performances. They lost close games, experimented quite a bit with their eleven, brought up some disenchanting performances. However, they have to remember that they still have seven games left and still can turn it around. Starting from this game, they need to be at their best and can’t afford any kinds of slip-ups.
