The 1^st match between Rwanda Women facing off against Mozambique Women will be played on 9^th September at the Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1.

Botswana will host the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. The top team of this competition will be progressing to the 2022 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament. The three African associates team, Botswana, Cameroon, and Eswatini will be making their debuts in this tournament.

Initially, the tournament was scheduled to take place in October but was later preponed to ease the fixture congestion.

A total of 11 teams will be taking part in this tournament and the teams are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. Group A includes Botswana, Eswatini, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe while the next group i.e. Group B includes Cameroon, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Uganda.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from 9^th September to the 19^th of September. All the matches of this tournament will be played at Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1, Gaborone.
