Match Preview

Playing in conditions where they were successful earlier, RR would like to put their derailed campaign back on track. But it wouldn’t be an easy task for them against the Capitals. The young team has been phenomenal this season with 4 wins from 5 games. Even in their last encounter, they registered a big victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They would be very confident coming into this match and would like to carry on with the winning momentum.

It is an absolute belter of a track to bat on in Sharjah. Even though the scores in the game between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were not as high, it is still a great track and bowlers should get their yorkers right if they are to restrict the opposition.

RR vs DC Top Picks

Marcus Stoinis
After struggling as a middle-order batsman for Australia in T20Is, there were doubts if Stoinis will be effective for the capitals lower down the order. The way the management has so far handled Stoinis and provided him the liberty to express himself has allowed people to watch the best of Stoinis’ batting prowess. His bowling at the death has been a revelation and that makes Stoinis a hot pick for any Fantasy XI.

Axar Patel
The most economical bowler in this year’s IPL, Axar Patel has redefined his bowling approach. No longer relying solely on his left arm darts, Axar now outfoxes batsmen with his variations, be it in the air or with his lengths.

Jofra Archer
The fastest bowler in IPL 2020, Archer’s pace has been intimidating and menacing, and more importantly, economical. His late order Six hitting ability has been clean and mean, and it provides a much-needed boost.

Kagiso Rabada
There is no better sight in the world of cricket than to watch Rabada operating at his best. Probably the best all-format bowler in the world right now, Rabada has been at his devastating best in this IPL and is sitting at the top of the wicket taker’s list.

Dream 11 IPL 2020

The tournament is set to kick off with a blockbuster clash, with the defending champions Mumbai Indians locking horns with three-time winners and the runners-up of the last edition, Chennai Super Kings.

The 53-day tournament will consist of 10 double-headers and will be played in the bio-secure environment of the UAE behind closed doors.

The IPL will take place across the three venues in the United Arab Emirates- Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host 20 round-robin games including the tournament opener, while Dubai and Sharjah will play host to 24 and 12 games respectively.Earlier, BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly stated that the IPL 2020 schedule will be released on September 4, 2020, in an interview to ABP News.

“We understand schedules are delayed. It is almost on the verge of getting final and should be released by Friday”, said Ganguly.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) Chairman Brijesh Patel informed that the IPL Governing Council is proposed to meet after 24 July to chalk out the final details and schedule of IPL 2020.
