The remaining matches of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) are just two days ahead and the international stars have already started arriving in the country. With most of them already reached in the cricket-loving nation, a few players are to miss the hospitality from all four qualified franchises.

Multan Sultans:

From Multan Sultans, James Vince and Mahmudullah, who were tested COVID-19 positive, have been ruled out of the squad and no more will be entertaining the Sultans followers. Notably, Bangladesh’s Mahmudullah was chosen as Moin Ali’s replacement.

As of now, Joe Denly and Brendon Taylor have been contracted as the replacements for Mahmudullah and Vince. The news was reported officially by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official.

Discussing Lahore Qalandars, Chriss Lynn earlier withdrew himself from the league fearing the Coronavirus. As of now, Tamim Iqbal is included in the squad. There are no major foreign players who are not available for Qalandars as Samit Patel, Davis Weise, Ben Dunk, and Dane Vilas are their part.

Karachi Kings are lucky to only miss on Mitchell McClenaghan who has been replaced by Parnell. The biggest loss for Kings is Dean Jones as Wasim Akram will be coaching the side in the playoffs.

Peshawar Zalmi:

Peshawar Zalmi, who were mostly known because of Pakistan’s loved Darren Sammy, are to miss out on him as the coach will not be able to arrive due to logistical issues. Zalmi have included Sohaib Maqsoos in their squad for the Eliminator round. Along with him, Carlos Braithwaite is no more the part.
