The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shortlisted the twenty players ahead of England tour.

The following twenty players are reserved to get featured in the three-match Test series against England and the playing XI will be chosen among these twenty.

Azhar Ali (captain), Babar Azam (vice-captain), Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Imam ul Haq, Imran Khan Snr, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, Sohail Khan, Usman Shinwari, Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah.

However, the following players will keep on practicing and will be able to see in action in the three-match T20I series:

Mohammad Amir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khudshil Shah, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Imad Wasim, Musa Khan, Musa Khan, and Mohammad Hafeez.

Pakistan have taken a higher ratio of the young sensation in the squad for England tour. As the three-match test series is about to be kicked off, the veterans do not have much expectance from the young side and believe that home-siders England hold the card.

The sides will be featuring in three test matches that are to be played at Old Trafford, Ageas Bowl, and Ageas Bowl respectively, whereas, the three T20Is will be played at Old Trafford.

It has been decided that the series will be resumed behind closed doors to avoid the spreading of the Coronavirus

The sides will be seen in action on the mentioned below dates:

5-9 Aug – 1st Test, Old Trafford

13-17 Aug – 2nd Test, Ageas Bowl

21-25 Aug – 3rd Test, Ageas Bowl

28 Aug – 1st T20I, Old Trafford

30 Aug – 2nd T20I, Old Trafford

1 Sep – 3rd T20I, Old Trafford

However, the sides, PCB Greens and Green Whites, featured in the last inter-squad test match at Derbyshire today which ended today with a draw.
