“Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani wanted a new ethics code as in recent years there have been numerous complaints and issues of multiple roles by its officials, employees or members leading to a conflict of interest situation in their respective roles,” a source was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.

“All such people who are doing dual jobs/roles and there is an element of conflict of interest in their roles will have to now give up one or two of their roles,” the source said.

The page 27 of the new ethics code was approved by PCB in the last meeting which concerns the interest of holding multiple posts at once.

Moreover, currently, Misbah is at Derbyshire with the team practicing ahead of the first test match after they completed a 14-day isolation period at Worcestershire.

The sides will be featuring in three test matches that are to be played at Old Trafford, Ageas Bowl, and Ageas Bowl respectively, whereas, the three T20Is will be played at Old Trafford.

It has been decided that the series will be resumed behind closed doors to avoid the spreading of the Coronavirus
